The D.C. Courts are located in four buildings in the Penn Quarter neighborhood, just a few blocks from the National Mall, the National Gallery of Art, the Navy Memorial and the National Building Museum.

Moultrie Courthouse

Entrances are at -
500 Indiana Avenue, N.W., center doors ;
C Street ; and
West side of the John Marshall Plaza between Indiana Avenue and C Street.
Building A
515 Fifth Street, N.W.
Main entrance is on 5th street.
Accessible entrances are on the E and F Street sides of the building.
Building B
510 4th Street, N.W.
Main entrance is on 4th Street.
Accessible entrance is on F Street side of the building.

Transportation Information
Public transportation is the best way to travel to the D.C. Courts. The D.C. Courts are located at the Metrorail Red Line Judiciary Square Station (once in the station, take the exit marked "D.C. Courthouses" for the Moultrie Courthouse and the exit marked "Building Museum" for the Historic Courthouse and Court Buildings A and B). In addition, the Archives/Navy Memorial Station on the Yellow and Green Lines and the Gallery Place/Chinatown station on the Yellow, Green and Red Lines are within walking distance.

Metro AccessibleThe Courts are accessible from the Judiciary Square metro stop. The Judiciary Square Metro station is located on the "red line" between the Union Station and Gallery Place/Chinatown metro stops.
 Location: Location of the two Judiciary Square entrances: South side of F St., between 4th & 5th Sts. N.W., across the street from the National Building Museum; and the East side of 4th St. between D & E Streets, in from of 441 Fourth Street.
Early station/entrance closings: (4th St.) Weekday- midnight, Saturday/Sunday - all day
Last train departs: Shady Grove- 12:01 a.m. Glenmont- 12:09 a.m. (Trains leave exactly 3 hours later on Friday and Saturday nights.)

D.C. Circulator
The Courts are also accessible from the D.C. Circulator. The bus route has stops on the Red Line near Seventh Street and Pennsylvania Avenue, N.W., which are close to the Moultrie Courthouse. The Court offices at Gallery Place are accessible from the stops at 7th and H Streets, N.W. as well as 7th and Massachusetts Avenue, N.W. Contact the D.C. Parking
On-street parking at Judiciary Square and around Gallery Place area is extremely limited. Therefore, we encourage you to use public transportation. Parking is available in commercial garages for $12 to $15 per day.

Driving Directions
From DC Locations
Judiciary Square is located 4 blocks north of the National Mall, between Fourth and Fifth Streets, and D and F Streets, Northwest. From Constitution Avenue, go north on 6th Street (right by the Newseum) and the Moultrie Courthouse will be on your right (entrance is on Indiana Avenue, which is the second right after you turn onto 6th Street from Constitution). To get to the Historic Courthouse or Court Buildings A and B, take 6th Street north to E Street and turn right. Court Building A is immediately on your left, the Historic Courthouse is mid-block on your right, and Court Building B is on your left toward the end of that block.
Driving from Northern Virginia on I-66
I-66 becomes Constitution Avenue. Follow Constitution Avenue
east to 6th Street. Turn left onto 6th Street. Turn right
onto Indiana Avenue. The Moultrie Courthouse is located on
the right.
To go to Court Building A or Court Building B, continue north
on 6th Street and turn right at E Street. Proceed east one
block. Buildings A and B are on the left. To go to the Historic Courthouse or Court Buildings A or B, continue north on 6th Street and turn right at E Street. The Historic Courthouse is on the right and Court Building A is on the left just after you turn, and Court Building B is on your left at the end of the block.
Driving from Northern Virginia on I-395
Follow I-395 north into the District. Take either
the 14th Street exit or the 12th Street exit (northbound).
Turn right onto Constitution Avenue. Follow Constitution Avenue
east to 6th Street. Turn left onto 6th Street. Turn right
onto Indiana Avenue. The Moultrie Courthouse is located on
the right. To go to Court Building A or Court Building B,
continue north on 6th Street and turn right at E Street. Proceed
east one block. Buildings A and B are on the left. To go to the Historic Courthouse or Court Buildings A or B, continue north on 6th Street and turn right at E Street. The Historic Courthouse is on the right and Court Building A is on the left just after you turn, and Court Building B is on your left at the end of the block.
Driving from Maryland southbound on I-95 / Baltimore-Washington
Parkway (B-W Parkway)
Follow I-95 to Baltimore-Washington (B-W) Parkway southbound. Take B-W Parkway to
Route 50 westbound, into Washington, D.C. Route 50 becomes
New York Avenue. Follow New York Avenue several miles, passing
I-395 southbound exit. Shortly after I-395 southbound exit,
turn left on 5th Street, N.W. Court Building A will be on the
left, between F and E Streets, Court Building B is behind
and across Judiciary Square from Court Building A. To get to the Historic Courthouse, turn left on E Street and you will see the plaza mid-block on your right. The Moultrie Courthouse is ahead, at the end of 5th Street at the intersection with Indiana Avenue.

Bicycles
The D.C. Courts are accessible by bicycle. Members of the public cannot bring bicycles into the courthouses. Bicycle racks are located:
Moultrie Courthouse:
- At the intersection of Sixth and C streets, on the north side of the street near the C Street entrance and the guard booth.
- At the intersection of Sixth and C streets, on the south side of the street near the Newseum's tour group entrance and on Sixth Street, near the Newseum residents' entrance.
- In the 500 block of C Street, near the C Street entrance.
- At the intersection of Fifth Street and Indiana Avenue, in front of the Indiana Avenue entrance.
- In the plaza at the Indiana Avenue entrance each lamppost has a built-in bike rack that can accommodate up to four bicycles. In addition, there are two traditional-styled racks near the sidewalk.
Building A:
- At entrance to the National Building Museum in the 400 block of F Street.
Building B:
- At the intersection of Fourth and F streets in the 400 block of Fourth Street.
Historic Courthouse:
- At the entrance to the One Judiciary Square Building at 444 Fourth Street, near the Fourth Street entrance to the Judiciary Square Metrorail Station.
Bicycle Sharing: The nearest Smart Bike station serving Judiciary Square is located at the One Judiciary Square Building, which located at 444 Fourth Street, NW. http://www.smartbike.com
