Child Care Center
- The Child Care Center provides a safe, clean environment with a friendly, warm, and caring atmosphere where children can "learn through play." The center provides an opportunity for all children who attend to participate in creative and stimulating activities. Special emphasis is given to the development of the child's fine motor skills through the use of age-appropriate materials.
- School-aged children have an opportunity to develop their reading comprehension and creative writing skills, work on school assignments, as well as to participate in creative arts. All children have the opportunity to share and cooperate with each other and adults through games and activites. Since the length of the stay for children in the Center varies, the program is very flexible.
- The Center is staffed by one full-time director and an assistant director. Part-time aide(s)/volunteer(s) also assist with service delivery.
RegistrationParents or guardians are required to fill out several registration forms before utilizing the Child Care Center. Please see the Forms Locator.
- The Parent or Guardian must provide a completed health certificate containing shot record, doctor’s signature, address and contact number for each child. If the child has a current Health Certificate (i.e., within the past 11 months) for school or another child care program, a copy of that health certificate may be submitted. The Parent or Guardian must also provide an Oral Health Assessment Form for children between the ages of 3 and 12 years. – Children may not be admitted without the required documents.
