DC Superior Court and the DC Child and Family Services Agency will co-host their 28th Annual DC Adoption Day ceremony on Saturday, November 22, 2014 from 10am to noon. The ceremony is designed to celebrate the joys of adoption and encourage area residents to consider adopting or fostering a child in the District’s child welfare system. CFSA is currently seeking permanent, loving, adoptive homes for 85 of the 1100 children in foster care in DC. Over 30 adoptions will be finalized at this year’s ceremony. The children and their families will be introduced to the audience to come forward as their judge signs the adoption decree.
