Newest User-friendly Language Options on www.dccourts.gov

WASHINGTON, DC – Visitors to the official website of the District of Columbia Courts can now access information regarding the Courts in both Korean and Chinese.  The Courts recently created these multilingual versions of the Courts’ general information page to enhance access to court information and services for nonEnglish speaking persons.  The Courts’ general information page is already available in Spanish.

The links to the Korean and Chinese versions General Information pages are available at www.dcccourts.gov in the lower left corner of the homepage.  The general information page includes the following information:

• Hours of operation

• Location

• Contact information

• Court organization/mission/vision

• Court services: childcare, interpreter services, ADA accommodations, telecommunication services, cafeteria, etc.

• Court directory

The Courts plan to add other languages in the future and to expand website content in Spanish, Korean and Chinese.  Website users with input on the existing site or suggestions for enhancements may provide comments – in any language – by going to the feedback link at the bottom of all website pages or sending an email to webmaster [at] dcsc.gov.
