D.C. COURTS TO HOLD TOWN HALL MEETINGS

Date
June 04, 2004

MEETING FOR RESIDENTS OF WARD 5 - June 10

MEETING FOR RESIDENTS OF WARDS 6 - June 12

-Public invited to both events -

The District of Columbia Courts are sponsoring these town hall meetings to provide residents of Wards 5 and 6 an opportunity to share their views about the DC Superior Court and Court of Appeals and to talk with judges about important issues facing residents in their community. State-of-the-art technology, similar to that used on the television show Who Wants to be a Millionaire, will enable participants to communicate their views on a range of issues. The results will be instantly compiled and displayed for group discussion. We will also discuss how the Courts and the community, working together, can make positive changes in our neighborhoods.
