Supervised Visitation
Supervised Visitation Center Mission: To foster healthy interactions among family members affected by domestic violence and other domestic issues through the provision of supervised visitation and exchanges in a safe and secure environment, with the assistance of community partners.
Superior Court's Supervised Visitation Center (SVC) provides supervised visitation and exchange services for court-referred domestic relations and domestic violence cases. The center strives to foster healthy interactions among family members affected by domestic issues by providing supervised visitation and exchanges in a safe, secure environment with the help of community partners.
- To provide a neutral location for visits between children and non-custodial parents;
- To serve as a site for exchanges of children;
- To protect the safety of children and the custodial parents; and
- To preserve the visitation rights of non-custodial parents.
How do I request supervised visitation for the opposing party in a Family Court matter?
To request supervised visitation for the opposing party, you may make a request with a Complaint for Custody and/or Access to Children in the Family Court Central Intake Center. If you already have a custody or visitation order, you may file a motion in that case. In either case, the judge will decide if supervised visitation is appropriate.

Where do I go to open a case for Supervised Visitation?
To file a Complaint for Custody and/or Access to Children visit the Family Court Central Intake Center. To get a Civil Protection Order or ask to have it enforced, visit one of the Court’s two Domestic Violence Intake Centers:
