Traffic Violations

How do I get information on my traffic violations?

What is considered a traffic violation?

Traffic violations include offenses such as no permit, unregistered auto, operating after suspension, operating after revocation, driving while intoxicated, driving under the influence, and driving while impaired. These charges are heard in the DC/Traffic Community Court, in the Moultrie Courthouse. Find information on those types of Traffic cases on the DC Superior Court online case search system.

The DC Superior Court does not handle minor traffic offenses; the DC Department of Motor Vehicles handles these cases.
