If you have a prior felony conviction that's less than 10 years since the completion of your jail term, probation, or parole, you can serve as a grand juror. You can serve as a grand juror if you have a misdemeanor conviction. You cannot serve as a grand juror if you have a pending criminal case. Please see D.C. Code Section 11-1906(b)(2)(B).
