If you have a prior felony conviction and it's been one year since the completion of your jail term, probation, or parole, you can serve as a petit juror. You can serve as a juror if you have a misdemeanor conviction. You cannot serve as a juror if you have a pending criminal case. See D.C. Code Section 11-1906(b)(2)(B).
