KNOW BEFORE YOU GO! VIRTUAL DC COURTS
The District of Columbia Courts, in partnership with the D.C. Bar Pro Bono Center, have launched the Virtual DC Courts Interactive Website, created by innovative technology company Youtopian. The site is live as of Oct. 29, 2024.
Visitors of the Virtual D.C. Courts Interactive Website can interact with avatars of courts staff, from security personnel to clerks and judges, as well as D.C. Bar Pro Bono Center staff, to hear more about what to expect when they go to D.C. Superior Court. You can also see what the offices look like and where they’re located before you visit.
The offices and courts you can check out on the site before coming to court include:
- Domestic Violence
- Family
- Landlord & Tenant
- Probate
- Small Claims
The site also available in Spanish, American Sign Language (ASL), and Amharic.
Thank you to the D.C. Bar Pro Bono Center and Youtopian for making this virtual website a reality!
Note: The site is best viewed in Google Chrome.
