Jonathan
W. Anderson, J.D., graduated summa cum laude from
The George Washington University in 1998 with a B.A. in
Criminal Justice. He was a Soros Criminal Justice
Scholar at the New York University School of Law, receiving
his J.D. cum laude in 2001. Since 2001, Mr. Anderson
has been employed as a staff attorney with the Public
Defender Service for the District of Columbia.
In that position Mr. Anderson has represented indigent
clients at the trial level, in collateral proceedings, and
on appeal, in cases with charges ranging from misdemeanor
assault to first degree murder. He is currently part
of the Public Defender Service’s Appellate Division.
Mr. Anderson is also an Adjunct Professor in the Sociology
Department of The George Washington University.
