Yes, you may appeal a judge’s decision by filing a Notice of Appeal. You may file a Notice of Appeal at DC Superior Court, Criminal Information, Room 4001 or by mail: DC Superior Court, 500 Indiana Ave., NW, Criminal Division, Room 4001, Washington, DC 20001. The filing fee is $100. If you can't afford the filing fee, you may ask the Court to waive the filing fee by filing a fee waiver application. You may also file a motion to have a magistrate judge’s order or judgment reviewed by a Superior Court Judge. See DC Code §11-1732.
